The Brazilian star Issues Apology to The Madrid Club Fans
The attacker has scored 5 goals in 10 La Liga outings during the current campaign.
The Madrid giants attacker Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to supporters for his conduct when taken off in Sunday's fiery match against Barcelona win.
Vinicius was replaced in the second half and displayed his disappointment by walking immediately down the tunnel.
Vinicius subsequently came back to the dugout and, after his club's 2-1 win, sought to engage Barcelona's Lamine Yamal during contentious final whistle scenes.
"Now I want to apologise to all the supporters for my reaction when I was substituted in the derby," he wrote on X.
"Similarly to I have said in person during today's practice, I would like to say sorry once more to my colleagues, the team, and the club president.
"Occasionally fervor takes over me because I continuously aim to win and support my side. My winning mentality comes from the passion I feel for this team and all it stands for."
Vinicius joined Real from Brazil in the year 2018 for millions and has scored 111 goals in numerous matches.
But his prospects in the Madrid is far from certain with reports in the past few months suggesting that the club would think about allowing the young star move on if they were to receive a good proposal.
When he was substituted on that day, cameras from network the platform picked him up stating: "Always me! I'm departing the side! It's wiser if I go, I'm moving on."
In his latest post on the platform, he stated: "I vow to keep battling at all times for the good of the club, as I have done since the very beginning."
