The Pop Star Portrays a Dark Alter Ego of Her Own Identity in Satirical Film Teaser
The celebrated musician is preparing for a major film appearance in 2026, beginning with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.
Within the project, the artist plays what she refers to as a twisted version of her public image.
It’s the realest depiction of the music business that I’ve ever witnessed, the star stated.
She further explained in an interview: It’s not a tour documentary, yet the concept came from the expectation to make one.
A Glimpse into The Moment
The debut trailer, released on Thursday, combines authentic footage from Charli’s Sweat tour with fictionalized off-stage interactions.
The mockumentary is overseen and co-authored by her collaborator, who shared that the story revolves around a reality where Charli opted for alternate decisions throughout the marketing of her chart-topping release Brat.

The month of February will also bring the launch of the director’s interpretation of Wuthering Heights, which will showcase fresh tracks from the singer.
She will also compose the score for the story Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, scheduled for release soon.
